The Strypes - 18 Songs for You to Learn and Sing
The Strypes are young. Have received kudos from the likes of Daltrey, Jeff Beck, and Paul Weller. Heck, even David Letterman got excited after the band hit his show. Signed to Elton's John's management. Seem to be following the template of the early Stones, but can throw down a blistering Nick Lowe cover, a laidback Lorde tune, or a hepped version of a tune by Little Walter, Muddy Watters, The Beatles, or The Who.
The Strypes are playing a festival in Spain this June that features Blondie, Violent Femmes, and Scorpions. I don't know anything about this festival besides that, but I love the fact it's all over the place!
