Supposedly
Nash the Slash passed away yesterday. There's a fine letter from Nash on
his website explaining his retirement in 2012, which serves as a fair epitaph. I met the man once, shook his white-gloved hand, and marvelled at the wonder of Nash the Slash. I don't think we will ever see another just like him. He took chances, made unique sounds, revealed a sense of humour, and recorded some inventive covers.
