Radiohead King of Limbs Remixes, Mash-ups, Live, Covers - Already!

Radiohead's King of Limbs was just released on Friday, and there have been some comments to the fact that it only contains 8 songs, which speaks to the fervent desire of fans for anything Radioheady. There are approximately 9429 reviews of the album out there already, so you don't need mine. I'm just chiming in to provide some live versions, remixes/mash-ups, and covers (that they're already out there also speaks to the fanaticism of fervent fans). Pick a few and add 'em to your album to make what you feel should be the proper number of songs for a complete experience. The Great Lotus and Hall North remixes are exceptionally fine, if you ask me.

The Cars - Full Blue Tip and Move Like This

The Cars recently released a full length video for Blue Tip, a song from their album Move Like This (out May 11). It's not a very inspired video clip (and if that is the album cover above, it seems the visual element of the band has not returned), but I still like the song. It doesn't blow me away, but I am definitely intrigued about the album. On this tune, Elliot Easton isn't really unleashed, but I have a feeling he will get opportunities to unpack some tasty guitar. Another track the band has teased us with brief clips, Free, seems to offer some spooky, edgy keyboards and elctronic drums as wel as harder six-string sounds (to hear the previous teaser clips, go here).

New Radiohead - Lotus Flower & King of Limbs

Okay, last time I posted about Radiohead, it turned out to be a rumour. This is the real thing, with an interpretive dance by Thom Yorke for the first video, including a touch of Axl Rose-type serpentine swagger. The band has released the digital version of their album King of Limbs one day early, so you can buy it now instead of tomorrow. My fave so far is Morning Mr. Magpie. The band's website offers this info about the digital version:

Radiohead's new record, The King Of Limbs, is presented here with a choice of two digital formats:

•MP3 version is a 320K constant bit rate file.

Of course, there's also a special version available:
